Important Information

  • Huisartsenpraktijk Tolbert is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    We hold daily meetings from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and take a lunch break between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM. Our medical assistant completes her tasks between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. During this time, we are only available for emergencies and professional consultations.

    Outside of opening hours, you can manage personal matters or send a message to your GP via the patient portal.

  • The practice is not closed for full weeks. However, during the following holiday weeks, we are closed on Tuesdays and Fridays:

    May 2026: April 25 – May 3
    Summer 2026: July 25 – August 16
    Autumn 2026: October 10 – October 18
    Christmas 2026: December 19 – December 27

    Additionally, the practice will be closed on the following single days in 2026:

    Friday, April 3 (Good Friday)
    Friday, May 15 (Day after Ascension Day)
    Friday, December 4

    Occasionally, the practice may close for staff events. Any such closures will be announced in advance on the website.

    During practice closures, urgent care is provided by:

    If you are registered with the patient portal, you can conveniently manage personal matters outside of opening hours. Please note that prescription requests may take slightly longer to process during holiday periods.

  • If you miss your appointment twice, we charge a missed appointment fee.

    If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you fail to show up without notifying us, this will be recorded in your medical file.

    If you miss an appointment for the second time, we are obliged to charge a compensation fee in accordance with the national guidelines of the Dutch General Practitioners Association (LHV).

    Please note: The fee is €25 and is not reimbursed by your health insurance.
